SPLC Lists Moms For America as a “Hate Group”...AGAIN
Fletcher: “It is SPLC that is the hate group, not freedom-loving moms.”
Branson, MO – Moms For America, a nationwide network of over half a million moms fighting for faith, family, and freedom, announced today that it has once again been listed as a “hate group” by the radical Southern Poverty Law Center.
“It’s hard to believe that we’ve reached the point where moms get compared to domestic terrorists for loving their kids and their country,” said Kimberly Fletcher, founder and CEO of Moms For America. “But it’s common knowledge at this point that the SPLC is nothing but a fundraising front group, banking on its past credibility to spew misinformation and slander its political opponents while serving as a cash cow for its overcompensated executives.”
As journalists such as John Stossel and Tyler O’Neil have extensively reported, the SPLC has devolved considerably from its early days as a pioneer in the fight for civil rights, and is now little more than a highly-partisan fundraising operation.
Moms For America is designated as an “anti-government extremist” group by the SPLC because it advocates for individual liberties and constitutional principles, which entails fighting against government overreach and standing up to efforts to restrict individual liberties.
“We're pro-liberty,” Fletcher explained. “As our own founding fathers attested, when governments infringe on the God-given liberties of citizens, it is the responsibility of patriots to stand up to tyranny. If that makes us a hate group, then everyone who signed the Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution would be considered a hate group. It is SPLC that is the hate group, not freedom-loving moms.”
Founded in 2004, Moms for America is a national, non-profit 501c3 educational corporation rooted on the principles of liberty and virtue our nation was founded on, and focused on promoting these principles, values, and virtues in the home and family, particularly through the women and mothers of America.
