Moms For America is training an army of moms to fight for our kids
Today, Moms For America took the next major step in its campaign to restore sanity to our schools by hosting the first of two training sessions for school board and library board candidates. The trainings are designed to prepare candidates to understand the political process and master procedural rules so they can effectively counter and reverse the radical agenda being imposed on our children once they take office.
Candidates from all over the country participated, many of whom have received the coveted endorsement of Moms For America as they seek to restore parental rights and refocus schools on their core mission of educating students.
“We’re mobilizing an army of moms to take back control over what our children are learning in school, and an army needs to be well-trained in order to be effective,” said Kimberly Fletcher, founder, president, and CEO of Moms For America. “These trainings will equip our moms with the knowledge they need to be effective public servants and make meaningful changes that will benefit our children.”
The trainings will be led by Dr. Kelly Kohls, Senior Director of the School Board Leadership Project for Moms For America. Dr. Kohls is also Executive Director of the National School Board Leadership Council, which partners with Moms For America to train elected officials and support parents in their quest for educational accountability. Participants will learn about Robert’s Rules of Order, how to acquaint themselves with relevant laws and regulations, how to make motions and write resolutions, and their rights and responsibilities as school board members.
“We’re going to empower moms to fight back against the political indoctrination in our schools and make sure that schools are teaching our children how to become successful, well-rounded adults,” said Dr. Kohls. “We don’t just recruit candidates – we give them the training and support they need to get across the finish line and become effective public servants.”
Moms and school board candidates who are interested in signing up for the next training session can do so here. Candidates who are interested in applying for the most coveted endorsement in America can fill out a questionnaire at MFAAction.com.
