Moms For America Releases Anthem for American Moms
Kimberly Fletcher: “This is a battle cry.”
Branson, MO – Just in time for Mother’s Day, Moms For America is releasing a theme song for all American moms that celebrates the hard work, dedication, and love they put into raising the next generation of American patriots.
The song was written by best-selling songwriter James Dean Hicks – who has written songs for superstars such as Blake Shelton, Miley Cyrus, Kenny Chesney, Jessica Simpson, and Aaron Carter – using lines contributed by MFA members from all over the country during the group’s annual national meeting.
“This song has been two years in the making, and we’re so excited to finally be releasing it. The timing is perfect, because Moms For America just celebrated our 20th anniversary,” said MFA founder and president Kimberly Fletcher. “The world is on fire and we’re fighting every day for our children, and this song reflects that struggle while also reminding us of why we’re doing it. This is a battle cry.”
Fletcher, Moms For America Podcast host Debbie Kraulidis, MFA Director of Civic Engagement Aly Legge, and singer-songwriter Hadas Levy provide the vocals and star in the music video.
“This is a theme song for moms all across America,” Legge said. “One of my favorite lines is that we'll protect and defend our family, home, and friends. As a prior service member, that really strikes a chord with me, because I think we’re at a unique moment in our history where we really have to stand up and defend our rights and our freedoms, or we could lose them.”
THE SONG IS AVAILABLE ON THE MOMS FOR AMERICA YOUTUBE CHANNEL, ALONG WITH AN EXCLUSIVE BEHIND-THE-SCENES VIDEO.
