Moms for America and My Pillow Provide Sheets for Families in Need
Moms provide neglected necessities for their communities
Branson, MO – Thanks to a gracious donor, Moms for America (MFA) announced today that it has partnered with Mike Lindell and My Pillow to provide brand new sheets for moms and children in need across America.
“When most Americans go to bed at night, we take clean sheets for granted. But for many of our fellow citizens, clean sheets are a luxury,” said Cassie Fletcher, personal assistant to MFA President Kimberly Fletcher. “We’re going to change that for as many families as we possibly can.”
State and local MFA leaders helped organize the donations by locating shelters, foster homes, and individuals across their towns, counties, and states to best assess and address their individual needs. Orders ranged from just four twin sets to 30 of each size, and all will be distributed without cost to those in need.
For those struggling, sheets are often a neglected necessity, as noted by Moms for America’s Texas State Liaison, Teresa Thomas, who requested sheets for needy children within the Cyprus-Fairbanks Independent School District. “Often sheets are not a priority for the families to buy,” said Thomas, who plans to deliver the sheets personally with her MFA team.
