Hegseth Nomination Endorsed by Moms For America

January 24, 2025 – Moms For America, a nationwide network of over 500,000 moms committed to promoting faith, freedom, and family, is calling on the Senate to swiftly confirm Pete Hegseth’s nomination to serve as Secretary of Defense.

“Wokeism is a genuine national security threat, undermining readiness by distracting our military from its core mission of protecting and defending the American people,” said Kimberly Fletcher, founder and president of Moms For America. “Pete Hegseth is a decorated veteran who has devoted most of his adult life to supporting our military and our veterans, and he is the perfect person to restore our armed forces to their former glory."

Hegseth prevailed in a key procedural vote, and the full Senate is expected to vote on his confirmation this evening.

“As the wife and mother of veterans — just like many in our organization — I have a special place in my heart for the military, and a keen understanding of the important role it plays in safeguarding our republic,” said Fletcher. “Moms with loved ones who serve know we can trust Pete Hegseth to act in the best interests of our men and women in uniform.”
